Senior Support Worker

Senior Support Worker – Autism Initiatives, Northern Ireland

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team, supporting autistic individuals in a wide range of activities—from fostering independence in daily living to enabling access to work, education, and leisure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to develop independence in daily living for service users.
  • Assist with education, work, and leisure participation.
  • Provide personalised, person-centred support aligned with individuals’ unique needs.
  • Help build confidence and skills tailored to the needs of neurodiverse individuals.

Essential Criteria

  • At least six months’ experience supporting people with autism, learning disabilities, or associated conditions.
  • Ability to be flexible to adapt your schedule to the needs of our services.
  • NISCC registration or commitment to apply for registration upon appointment.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for role-based travel requirements).
