Senior Support Worker – New Care Home (Swaffham, Norfolk)
One of UK’s leading healthcare providers is opening a brand new, purpose-built care home in Swaffham, Norfolk, and we’re looking for a committed Senior Support Worker to join our team.
This modern care home offers:
- Residential care
- Dementia care
- Respite care
- Convalescence care
Providing a comfortable, supportive environment tailored to each resident’s individual needs.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Preferred:
- Proven experience working in a care setting
- Strong teamwork ethos
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A genuine passion for supporting and caring for others

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Support Worker, your role will include:
- Recognising and facilitating the daily needs of residents
- Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals
- Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
- Representing the home professionally when liaising with relatives, prospective residents, and enquiries
- Updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
- Assessing each resident to ensure high-quality, continuous care
- Administering medication in line with policies and procedures

Salary & Benefits
Salary: £16.50/hour (£30,888 per annum)
Contract: Permanent, full-time (36 hours per week, mix of shifts)
