Senior Support Worker – Ashwood Court Residential (Lowton, WA3 2RB)
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Ashwood Court Residential, based in Lowton, WA3 2RB.
- Salary: £22,214 per annum
- Hours: 32 hours per week, including some sleep-in shifts (paid at an enhanced rate).

Responsibilities
The Senior Support Worker will be responsible for:
- Supervising and delegating tasks to a team of support workers, ensuring high standards of values-based care.
- Delivering person-centred support to adults with conditions such as learning disabilities (LD), dementia, mental health problems, and physical disabilities.
- Responsibilities include:
- Implementing and reviewing care plans.
- Administering medication as required.
- Assisting with daily living tasks (shopping, domestic support, etc.).
- Sleep-in shifts are required as part of this role.

Requirements
To join the team, you should:
- Have previous experience as a Support Worker to ensure effective supervision.
- Demonstrate a strong alignment with Making Space’s core values.
- Be able to work person-centred, providing tailored support.
- Commit to on-the-job training and, if desirable, pursuing professional qualifications (levels 2-6 in Health & Social Care, Management, or Admin).
Note: DBS checks and safeguarding training are mandatory for this role.
