Senior Support Worker – Ashwood Court Residential (Lowton, WA3 2RB)

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Ashwood Court Residential, based in Lowton, WA3 2RB.

  • Salary: £22,214 per annum
  • Hours: 32 hours per week, including some sleep-in shifts (paid at an enhanced rate).

Responsibilities

The Senior Support Worker will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and delegating tasks to a team of support workers, ensuring high standards of values-based care.
  • Delivering person-centred support to adults with conditions such as learning disabilities (LD), dementia, mental health problems, and physical disabilities.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Implementing and reviewing care plans.
    • Administering medication as required.
    • Assisting with daily living tasks (shopping, domestic support, etc.).
  • Sleep-in shifts are required as part of this role.

Requirements

To join the team, you should:

  • Have previous experience as a Support Worker to ensure effective supervision.
  • Demonstrate a strong alignment with Making Space’s core values.
  • Be able to work person-centred, providing tailored support.
  • Commit to on-the-job training and, if desirable, pursuing professional qualifications (levels 2-6 in Health & Social Care, Management, or Admin).

Note: DBS checks and safeguarding training are mandatory for this role.
