Senior Support Worker - Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Up to £13.45 per hour
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire Type: Full-Time (flexible hours)
About the Role We are seeking a caring, dynamic, and highly motivated individual to join our Doncaster Supported Living Services as a Senior Support Worker.
Our services in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, provide high-quality care and support to individuals with a range of support needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. As a Senior Support Worker, you will work alongside the Team Leader to coordinate and deliver person-centred, outcome-focused support, ensuring tenants are empowered to live independently and achieve a high quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the team to support tenants in becoming valued members of the local community
- Provide personal, practical, emotional, and social support, placing the tenant at the centre of all decisions about their lives
- Collaborate with Team Leaders and Registered Managers to ensure the highest quality of care and support

Requirements
- Essential:
- At least two years’ experience in providing care and support to individuals with complex support needs
- Compassion, motivation, patience, and strong empathy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills and a well-organised, conscientious approach
- Willingness to work rota-based duties, including early-start, late shifts, and weekends
