Senior Support Worker
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our supported living and outreach service in Blackpool, providing person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, including those with autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.
This role is ideal for an experienced carer ready to lead a team and support individuals at our Blackpool service. You'll receive ongoing training to further your personal and professional development.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll:
- Provide respectful personal care, emotional, and practical support to service users
- Collaborate with service users, families, and the multidisciplinary team to maximize outcomes
- Implement Creative Support principles, policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure the service meets CQC requirements
- Supervise and support staff to meet service user needs and preferences
- Support service users in achieving a full, happy, safe and well-rounded life

Requirements
Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities is essential. While a clean, valid driving licence and access to a car are desirable, they are not required.
Flexibility is crucial for this role, as you'll be expected to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the service.
