Senior Support Worker
Senior Support Worker (Female Applicants Only) Wiltshire, Semington / Trowbridge

Role Summary
Are you ready to inspire change in people’s lives? Join Agincare as a Senior Support Worker in Wiltshire, supporting 3 female clients with learning disabilities and/or autism. Your responsibilities will span direct care delivery, leadership, and administrative tasks under the guidance of a Registered Manager.
This full-time role combines hands-on shift work with strategic oversight, ensuring consistent, high-quality care tailored to each individual.
Location: Semington, Trowbridge
Key Responsibilities
Core duties include:
- Supporting independence and community engagement:
- Encourage active participation in community or home-based activities based on individual preferences.
- Daily living assistance:
- Assist with routines, personal care, meal planning, budgeting, and budget management.
- Help prepare meals while incorporating personalised dietary needs.
- Communication and engagement:
- Communicate effectively using preferred methods for each client.
- Promote motivation and engagement in activities that enhance their quality of life.
- Specialised support:
- Apply positive behavioural support approaches where needed.
- Support and maintain integrative care for individuals with diverse needs.
- Recording and reporting:
- Keep detailed and accurate records of health status and changes in circumstances.
- Report findings to management as necessary.
- Leadership and team collaboration:
- Work collaboratively as a team member while demonstrating autonomy and initiative.
- Split time between direct support and administrative tasks to ensure smooth service provision.

Essential Requirements
- Based rights: Validations on 12 months of right to work in the UK.
- Licence: Hold/be willing to obtain a full UK driving licence.
- Qualification: A Level 2 Qualification in Health and Social Care, with commitment to Level 3 training where applicable.

About the Client Team:
You will support three individual women with varied backgrounds, learning disabilities, and/or autism. Their care plans reflect preferences—whether they endure community outings or softer home-based activities—consistency will be key to creating a secure and interactive support ethos.
Salary
£13.60–£13.75 per hour
