We are looking for a confident Day Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You'll be working 42 hours per week, working days only (including working alternate weekends). You will support in making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Broughton Lodge.
Shift Pattern: Days (8 am – 8 pm)
- Week 1: 4 days on, 3 days off
- Week 2: 3 days on, 4 days off
Broughton Lodge is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and a learning disability who may present with behaviours that may be of concern.
We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration. On site we have a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) who assist and support us to provide outcome based care and support pathways.

Depending on the individual’s level of need, we have 3 different areas within the service offering different levels of support, including support for young men and women leaving an educational provision.
Your Day-to-Day…
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
- Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
- Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all

- An experienced Support Worker ready to step up to a new challenge

- An excellent communicator & good team player
- Sensitive & intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
- Able to empower & support service user independence
- Organised, committed & keen to develop your management & leadership skills
- NVQ level 3 qualified in Care (desirable)
