About The Role
Senior Support Worker – Ty Seren
Salary: £13.75 to £14.20 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) –
Hours: 40.25 hours per week

We’re looking for an inspiring Senior Support Worker to support the Home Manager in leading this home, creating a warm, inclusive, and empowering environment where people feel valued, respected, and supported.

A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves:
- Act as shift leader.
- Assist in ensuring service scouring standards are maintained.
- Participating in the on-call rota.
- Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
- Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in assessment, development, and review of support and care plans.
- Promote and celebrate homes achievements.

To be a successful Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you'll need:
- Experience in a positive support environment.
- QCF level 3 qualified.
- Experience in managing challenging behaviour.
- Knowledge of statutory regulations.
- Lead by example and always act as a positive role model.
- Upload company policies and standards.
- Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
- Good awareness of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments.
Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
