Senior Support Worker

About The Role

Senior Support Worker – Ty Seren

Salary: £13.75 to £14.20 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) –
Hours: 40.25 hours per week

Please note this role is designated for female applicants only in accordance with the specific need of the individuals being supported and therefore exempt from the Equality Act 2010.

A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves:

  • Act as shift leader.
  • Assist in ensuring service scouring standards are maintained.
  • Participating in the on-call rota.
  • Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in assessment, development, and review of support and care plans.
  • Promote and celebrate homes achievements.

To be a successful Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you'll need:

  • Experience in a positive support environment.
  • QCF level 3 qualified.
  • Experience in managing challenging behaviour.
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations.
  • Lead by example and always act as a positive role model.
  • Upload company policies and standards.
  • Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
  • Good awareness of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments.

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
