About The Company
Senior Support Worker – Complex Needs Service (Kenton, near the beautiful Powderham Castle & Farm Shop)
Bring your expertise, creativity, and compassion to a truly unique service.
At our highly specialised, high-acuity service in Kenton, nestled close to the stunning Powderham Castle and its charming farm shop, we support individuals with extremely complex care needs. This is not a typical residential role—our service requires depth of understanding, resilience, and a genuine passion for positive behavioural approaches.
The support we are providing is reducing anxiety and making a positive difference to the lives of the people we support. Enabling them to continue to live a life they love!
We’re looking for someone who can bring new ideas, innovative techniques, and experience from complex learning disability environments, helping us continue to evolve and excel. Experience in a similar, high-complexity setting is essential.
Here, you will work with people whose needs—and risks—are significantly higher than in standard care settings. The right person will be motivated to understand the psychology behind the behaviours we see and committed to tailoring support so every individual can thrive safely, meaningfully, and with dignity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
