Senior Support Worker – Supported Living

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire

Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time Available

Pay Rate: £15.05 per hour

Driving Licence: Essential

Lead, Inspire and Make a Difference Every Day

We're looking for a caring, dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join a brand-new Supported Living service in the Stroud area, supporting an autistic gentleman to live a fulfilling, active, and independent life.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established team from the very beginning, helping to shape the service, lead by example, and deliver high-quality, person-centred support tailored around one individual's needs, interests, and aspirations.

About The Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the gentleman we support to live the life he chooses whilst providing guidance and leadership to the wider support team. You'll help maintain high standards of care, support staff development, coordinate shifts, and ensure the service delivers outstanding person-centred support.

He enjoys an active lifestyle and spends a lot of time outdoors and within the local community. Whether it's going for walks, visiting new places, taking part in activities, or supporting daily routines, you'll be there to provide encouragement, practical support, and leadership.

We're looking for someone who is patient, understanding, reliable, and passionate about helping others. You'll enjoy building positive relationships, promoting independence, and helping to create a positive and empowering environment for both the individual you support and your colleagues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
