Job Title Senior Surveyor - Affordable Housing Job Description Summary Job Description Job Title: Senior Surveyor – Valuation & Advisory (Residential Development) Location: Birmigham Role Overview A senior role within the Valuation & Advisory team specialising in residential development. You will lead valuations and provide strategic advice on development sites, supporting major developers, investors, and lenders across the UK. Key Responsibilities Lead valuations of residential development sites in accordance with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors standards Prepare detailed reports for loan security, financial reporting, and development appraisals Undertake residual land valuations and viability assessments Analyse market trends including sales values, build costs, and planning considerations Manage client relationships and take a lead role in instructions Support and mentor junior team members Contribute to business development and winning new work Key Requirements Degree in Real Estate or related discipline MRICS qualified (MRICS) Strong experience in residential development valuation Advanced financial modelling and appraisal skills Proven client-facing and project management experience Strong knowledge of the UK residential development market Career Development Leadership opportunities within a leading advisory team Exposure to high-profile development projects Clear progression within a global platform INCO: “Cushman & Wakefield” About Cushman & Wakefield Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) is a global leader in real estate services, leveraging our specialized expertise to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional value to owners and occupiers.
