We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Senior Surveyor / Associate to take a leading role in the management of an existing client’s coastal estate. This is a professional position suited to an experienced commercial or rural surveyor, with responsibility for delivering a range of estate management, valuation, landlord and tenant, and wider professional services.
The role will focus on a diverse coastal portfolio comprising leisure and commercial marine infrastructure assets including ports, marinas, rivers and estuaries. Alongside this, you will contribute to broader infrastructure and property work, while supporting the identification and development of new business opportunities.
You will be joining a small, welcoming and supportive team whilst having the opportunity to work with one of our highly prestigious clients. The role offers a varied workload, combining day-to-day estate management with more complex professional matters.

Main tasks Day-to-day management of a coastal estate across the South East and South West of England. Managing marine and infrastructure-related commercial lettings including marinas, moorings, jetties, wharfs, bridges, tunnels, pipelines and cables. Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals. Handling new enquiries and negotiating leases, licences, disposals and consents. Managing encroachments and advising on estate issues. Attending client, tenant and stakeholder meetings and events. Delivering a range of professional services including estate management, valuation and landlord and tenant matters. Contributing to business growth through identifying and developing fee-earning opportunities. Supporting cross-selling of commercial and infrastructure services. Producing clear and accurate financial and client reports as required.

What will it take to be successful? We are seeking an ambitious and motivated MRICS Surveyor who enjoys driving business initiatives forward in a confident and personable manner. We would like you to have proven landlord and tenant experience alongside a specialist working knowledge of relevant legislation. Previous experience of business development would be advantages with a focus on providing excellent customer service is key to this role. A full UK driving licence is essential.
