Senior Surveyor - Development Advisory - Site Assembly CPO

Overview

THE FIRM Montagu Evans is a UK property consultancy that helps clients unlock value from complexity, because that’s where the most meaningful opportunities live.

Our purpose is to bring clarity, creativity, and conviction to the complex. We are experts who collaborate to create value, not just preserve it and our team is built for impact, not oversight.

We specialise in high-value, complex assets across the property lifecycle, where political, technical or commercial challenges demand a joined-up approach.

THE TEAM/DEPARTMENT

This role sits within our Advisory Department, led by Josh Myerson. Our department comprises four teams:

• Valuation, Asset & Investment Advisory • Development and Strategic Advisory • Rating Advisory • Residential Valuation Advisory Together, Advisory is made up of over 150 experts across our three national offices, combining deep technical capability with broad sector experience. We operate as one connected team, uniting insight, collaboration and conviction to support our clients and unlock value at every stage of the property lifecycle. Our work spans a wide range of high-value projects, including:

• Helping progress the transformation, development and regeneration of major urban mixed-use projects • Minimising the costs of re-development for landowners and developers through a targeted rating strategy • Supporting developers value land, be that for viability, acquisition, disposal of land, development, and operational assets. • Providing clear valuation advice across public and private property portfolios • Advise owners on asset management and repurposing

At its core, Advisory is about:

• Unlocking value from complexity • Working collaboratively to deliver joined-up, insight-led solutions • Challenging convention and thinking differently • Providing clear, confident advice that supports better decision-making • Helping clients realise the full potential of their assets • Turning complex challenges into practical, deliverable outcomes Guided by our North Star, we are focused on being outstanding together - combining expertise, sharing insight and working collaboratively to deliver meaningful, lasting impact for our clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
