Senior Surveyor

Senior Surveyor (Land & Measured Building) – Permanent Role

About the Role

Do you have previous extensive experience as a Land and Measured Building Surveyor, passionate about supervising, training, and developing a team of surveyors?

If so, we’ve got a fantastic opportunity for you!

Survey Solutions, the UK’s largest engineering surveyors, are looking to appoint a Senior Surveyor to join our experienced surveying team based in our Glasgow office.

As Senior Surveyor, you’ll take on a key leadership role – supervising a team of surveyors and trainees while ensuring high technical standards and on-time project delivery.

The role requires strong communication, mentoring, and project management skills, with the ability to conduct training days for field-based staff. Upon progression, there’s strong potential for management development.

Hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (with variable site hours). This involves occasional overtime and weekend work as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
