Senior Sustainability Consultant – Carbon & Net Zero
Location: London Preferred, however flexible across Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol areas for the right candidate!

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality carbon and net zero projects while helping to grow our capability and mentor junior colleagues. You’ll have autonomy, client ownership and the chance to influence how we evolve our services.

Your Work Will Include
- Leading and delivering carbon and net zero projects.
- Product Carbon Footprinting
- Providing technical direction and allocating work across project teams.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and guiding them through complex sustainability challenges.
- Ensuring technical excellence and compliance with relevant standards.
- Staying ahead of emerging trends, methodologies and best practice.
- Supporting business development and contributing to proposals.
- Helping to develop and upskill junior team members.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative, solutions‑focused mindset.
You’ll Have
- Proven experience in carbon, sustainability or net zero consultancy.
- A solid understanding of net zero challenges and opportunities.
- Experience delivering and winning client projects.
- Confidence mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as Excel, SimaPro, openLCA or One Click LCA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality reports and present to clients.
- A relevant degree (MSc preferred) or equivalent experience.
