Role Overview

At Aston Martin, sustainability is becoming an increasingly important part of how we design, engineer, and deliver the world’s most desirable ultra-luxury performance vehicles. We are seeking a Senior Sustainability Engineer to lead, shape, and define the Sustainability Attribute across our future vehicle programs, driving innovative solutions that support both our business objectives and long-term environmental ambitions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the sustainability strategy across the vehicle lifecycle, ensuring sustainability considerations are integrated into component, system, and vehicle development.
  • Lead activities relating to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Recycling Desirability Index (RDI), Material Circularity Indicators (MCI), and Circular Design Guidelines (CDG).
  • Collaborate extensively across the business, securing stakeholder engagement and sponsorship to develop ISO 14040-compliant LCA studies throughout the supply chain.
  • Establish robust sustainability targets and measurable KPIs across engineering commodity teams.
  • Build and maintain a strong stakeholder network, reporting attribute performance against program gateways, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving solutions through the Sustainability Programme Attribute Team.
  • Work closely with Advanced Product Creation, Performance, Efficiency & Driveability, Legal & Certification, Procurement, and wider engineering teams to develop future sustainability initiatives, support certification activities, and influence the direction of future vehicle programs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
