You will be given the opportunity to grow and take on responsibility from day one in a challenging and rewarding customer-facing environment.

Main responsibilities:

This is a customer-focused role, so you will need to explore and understand our customer’s domain, needs, and programme, including legacy systems, systems context, and target value. You will be a proactive senior systems engineering lead with responsibility for understanding and specifying aspects of the problem and solution. Your responsibilities include:

  • Defining and planning the systems engineering needed to derive definitive specifications from high-level requirements.
  • Leading a small, multi-disciplined team of systems engineers, and domain and engineering specialists to deliver this.
  • Being the engineering point of contact for aspects of the problem and solution.
  • Engaging with stakeholders and specialists at a range of organizational levels.
  • Managing team delivery to quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Hands-on systems engineering; analyzing and modeling large data sets, documents, and legacy systems, with the help of AI LLM assistants, specifying solutions, and establishing traceability using our (ISO 15288 aligned) requirements and MBSE frameworks.
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary team to specify and integrate complex safety-critical systems. This will require you to understand and evaluate ATM operational processes and use-cases, and non-functional system properties such as safety, security, reliability, maintainability, and usability.
  • Contributing to Capgemini Engineering by developing strong client relationships and domain knowledge, using collaborative ways of working, and mentoring team members, contributing to capability development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
