The role requires strong technical judgement, structured thinking, and the ability to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in a rapidly evolving development environment.

Systems Engineers at Greenjets are highly hands-on, combining strong practical skills with technical leadership. While rigorous requirements management and robust verification & validation (V&V) processes are essential, we also expect our engineers to take ownership of system design – bringing creativity, engineering judgement, and a holistic perspective to deliver effective solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the development and management of system requirements, architectures, and interfaces across electrical, avionics, and powertrain systems
  • Capture, analyse, and manage requirements throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Work with customers and stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support system integration and resolve technical issues
  • Participate in:
    • design reviews
    • risk assessments
    • issue management
    • project readiness activities
  • Support verification and validation (V&V) activities, including:
    • test planning
    • integration
    • flight testing
  • Contribute to safety and airworthiness activities, including:
    • hazard identification
    • system safety assessments
  • Apply systems engineering processes and industry best practices to ensure successful product delivery
  • Support supplier engagement, technical reviews, and customer-facing engineering activities as required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
