Personio's Intelligent HR Platform

Personio's intelligent HR platform helps small and medium-sized organizations unlock the power of people by making complicated, time-consuming tasks simple and efficient. Our team of 1,500 Personios is building user-friendly products that delight our 15,000+ customers and their 1.5 million employees. Ready to make an impact from day one?

This role requires 2 days per week in the office and is based in Munich, Berlin or Dublin.

We empower Personio's decision-making with advanced analytics and strategic insights, while boosting productivity through systems improvement and automation. Be part of our transformative journey in HR technology, where your contributions will shape our data-driven future.

Our post-sales experience runs on a connected ecosystem of platforms — Zendesk, Skilljar, Gainsight (Insided), Salesforce, Qualtrics, and Workato — tied together by custom code and automation. As our Systems Integration Specialist (d/f/m), you'll own the health, evolution, and integration of this ecosystem, acting as the technical backbone for our Support & Customer Experience Ops team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across the full stack of a modern CX systems landscape: writing and maintaining custom code, administering SaaS platforms, building automations, and translating business problems into pragmatic technical solutions.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do:

  • Own and evolve our custom code solutions. Maintain and extend Zendesk sidebar apps and our Voyager platform — the customer-facing home for our help center (Zendesk Guide), academy (Skilljar), and community (Gainsight/Insided) — including custom theming, embedded functionality, and cross-platform behavior.
  • Administer our Zendesk instance. Create, update, and maintain ticket forms, fields, triggers, automations, views, and routing logic (including skill-based routing) to keep our support operations efficient and aligned with evolving team structures and processes.
  • Build and maintain Workato automations. Own key recipes that power our Support Hub, which connects Zendesk and Salesforce: this includes the API endpoints consumed by our engineering team (PTECH) to create, read, and update tickets across both systems — with request state persisted in Workato DBs and surfaced back to customers — as well as automations that transfer tickets and cases between Zendesk and Salesforce, triggered in the respective source system and orchestrated by Workato. Extend and troubleshoot integration workflows across our platform landscape.
  • Support our Salesforce and Qualtrics footprint. Maintain Cases and their related Flows in Salesforce, and administer Qualtrics surveys and survey workflows — including distribution logic, embedded data, and automation-driven survey sends.
  • Partner with business stakeholders. Work with teams across the post-sales organization to understand business problems, propose technical solution options, assess implementation effort and trade-offs, and see solutions through from idea to delivery.
  • Keep day-to-day operations running. Handle access requests, bug reports, and smaller operational tickets, prioritizing effectively alongside larger project work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of experience in a systems administration, integrations, or solutions engineering role, ideally within a support/CX or business systems environment
  • Hands-on Zendesk administration experience (forms, fields, triggers, automations, routing); experience building Zendesk apps or working with the Zendesk API is a strong plus
  • Strong hands-on frontend experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS — maintaining custom Zendesk apps and platform theming, and contributing to shared frontend codebases alongside the engineering team; comfort reading and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with an iPaaS/automation platform (Workato preferred; Zapier, Make, Tray, or similar also relevant), including building integration recipes and working with webhooks and API endpoints
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (Cases, Flows) and/or survey platforms like Qualtrics — or the aptitude to learn them quickly
  • Strong stakeholder skills: you can take a vague business request, ask the right questions, scope a solution, and communicate effort and trade-offs clearly to non-technical audiences
  • A pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset — you're comfortable balancing project work with operational tickets and knowing when a quick fix beats a perfect one
  • Business proficient in English. German and any other European language are nice-to-have.
