Senior Finance Systems Accountant (SUN Systems)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 + bonus + comprehensive benefits
Our client is a global hospitality group with revenues exceeding £500m and operations across multiple international markets. As part of their continued investment in finance transformation and systems optimisation, they are seeking a Senior Systems Accountant to join their London-based finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the key finance contact for SUN Systems, ensuring day-to-day stability, maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Support finance system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and reporting developments
- Work closely with Finance and IT teams to resolve system issues and improve finance processes
- Assist with month-end and year-end activities, ensuring accuracy of financial data and reporting
- Maintain user access controls, system governance, and documentation
- Support reporting and BI initiatives to enhance financial insight and operational reporting
- Deliver user training and provide ongoing support across the finance function
- Contribute to finance transformation and process automation projects

Candidate Requirements:

- Previous experience in a Finance Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with SUN Systems is essential
- Good understanding of core finance processes including GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting
- Experience working within a large, complex organisation, ideally within hospitality, leisure, or multi-site environments
- Qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and improve processes
