About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Tech Operations Engineering team. This pivotal role involves designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our services. You will work across teams to develop platform capabilities, enhance operational excellence, and support live services. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of solution architecture expertise, hands-on engineering skills, and the ability to lead technical initiatives from conception through to production deployment. As a senior team member, you will influence technical direction, make critical decisions under pressure, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. We are actively embracing AI technologies and welcome candidates with enthusiasm or experience in this emerging field.

This role offers a hybrid working model, with the office based in London, providing flexibility to balance remote work with on-site collaboration. You will be instrumental in maintaining and evolving our cloud environment, ensuring high standards of security, performance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, coupled with proven experience in a similar cloud engineering role. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure—preferably in Microsoft Azure—is essential, along with expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), web application security, and distributed systems. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in build and release pipelines, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with live cloud environments, monitoring tools, and incident management processes is crucial. A passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies is highly valued.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
