The Role
Joining as a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of critical SCADA and reporting systems supporting a major infrastructure project. Your daily tasks will include:
- Designing, developing, implementing, and supporting AVEVA System Platform, ProcessVUE, and MSSQL Reporting Services solutions.
- Collaborating closely with project teams.
- Supporting system integration.
- Producing detailed technical documentation.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Proven expertise in AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA Historian, and MSSQL Reporting Services within industrial environments.
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and testing SCADA solutions.
- Strong background in data management, system integration, and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with control system architectures, cybersecurity, and redundancy strategies.
- Demonstrable ability to operate in highly regulated industries such as nuclear or defence.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Electronic, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
