Role And Responsibilities
binx Health is looking for a skilled senior systems engineer to work within the Systems engineering team on a number of projects related to the improvement in reliability and robustness of our medical device instrumentation, and transfer to production.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Design and test components such as sensors, actuators, and other electromechanical designs within our systems and for production.
- Ability to own and individually manage projects related to electromechanical system design, review, and subsystem and system level verification.
- Creating accurate project and technical documentation, including schematics, technical reports, and test protocols.
- Collaborate with software and manufacturing engineers to facilitate integration of new electronics systems into mechanical frameworks and testing environments.
- Lead and conduct practical investigations, including RCAs, to adopt the latest technologies and analytics to improve system performance, in conjunction with other cross-functional technical teams.
- Perform detailed analysis to test the viability and integration of new technologies in our current systems.
- Work closely with the internal and external teams to implement systems, engineering changes, and refinement of manufacturing processes where necessary.
- Lead design reviews and collaborative initiatives with engineers and scientists.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Demonstrated ownership of complex electromechanical systems or subsystems through design, verification, and transfer to production.
- Experience conducting system-level verification and validation, including test method development and execution.
- Strong experience in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering.
- Experience managing technical projects with minimal supervision.
- 5+ years’ experience in a regulated industry where Quality Systems are essential, e.g., ISO 13485.

- Strong foundation in systems engineering principles, including requirements management, system integration, and verification.
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Ability to analyse complex systems and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
- Strong documentation skills, including creation of schematics, reports, and test protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on approach.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
