Senior Systems Engineer (IVVQ)

Senior Systems Engineer (IVVQ) – Kemble, ZeroAvia

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join ZeroAvia, strategically leading and driving validation, integration, verification, and environmental qualification (IVVQ) test campaigns for the ZA200 propulsion system. This critical role will support the delivery of certified, zero-emission aircraft propulsion systems, reshaping the future of aviation in alignment with ZeroAvia’s mission.

About the Role

You will own end-to-end IVVQ activities across aircraft, system, and component levels, with the flexibility to adapt as programme needs evolve. Your work will directly impact certification readiness and propel ZeroAvia’s ambitious goal of commercialising zero-emission aviation.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver IVVQ activities—including validation, integration, verification, and DO-160G environmental qualification—across aircraft, system, and item levels for the ZA200 fuel cell propulsion system
  • Develop and maintain verification & validation (V&V), integration, and quality plans, ensuring alignment with lifecycle schedules and mitigating programme risk
  • Design and execute IVVQ campaigns, authorising test specifications, procedures, execution, and results while leading defect investigations and resolutions
  • Represent the IVVQ function across design reviews and regulatory/compliance activities (e.g., FAA/EASA), managing verification risk and securing stakeholder alignment (customer, regulator, suppliers)
  • Collaborate with key teams Airworthiness, Certification, Safety, Test, and Design to drive compliance with ARP4754B and ARP4761A, ensuring programme deliverability

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
