Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The department is focussed on growth and developing a team of high-performing experienced System Architects, comfortable working in the problem space. Using architecture principles, tools and techniques to provide technical solutions for projects from very early in their development lifecycle, operating in the solution space. A real opportunity to live MBDA's values, contribute to the success of the project and develop into a skilled and competent MBDA Weapon System Architect.

  • Practical experience of modelling systems using model-based methods, processes and tools with an understanding of the system development lifecycle.
  • The ability and cultural awareness to work with multi-disciplinary multi-national teams supporting technology and design collaboration and communication.
  • Self-belief, confidence and conviction to identify and follow through on ideas and opportunities, to question and challenge others whilst being supportive and team oriented.
  • An ability to clearly present, communicate and walk-through concepts and technical content to a variety of internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.
