Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant is a key partner to the business, responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top technology talent. This role combines hands-on operational excellence with strategic insight, ensuring the company can meet its digital and technology workforce needs while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle from attraction through to onboarding, including screening and assessments. This is an exciting opportunity to join TPXimpact at a key time of growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for Technology, Engineering and Data roles and other verticals when needed, ensuring timely and high-quality hires.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates effectively against business requirements.
  • Maintain accurate, GDPR compliant recruitment data and analytics in ATS and HR systems.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, including passive candidate engagement with the ability to sell the benefits of TPXimpact.
  • Build strong talent pipelines and talent pools for critical and hard-to-fill technology roles.
  • Advise hiring managers on market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring strategies.
  • Coach hiring managers on interview techniques, assessment best practices, and candidate evaluation.
  • Partnering with line managers and interviewers to schedule candidate interviews and identifying ways to improve scheduling.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience across all touchpoints.
  • Champion and drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment processes and wider people team initiatives.
  • Supporting the people plan on recruitment-related activities and projects

  • Resource complexity and nature of work teams: Works within a matrix structure, balancing multiple stakeholders including senior leaders, hiring managers, and the wider talent and people team. Requires adaptability in managing competing priorities and demands.
  • Problem solving responsibility and complexity: Resolves complex talent acquisition challenges in highly competitive technology markets, often requiring innovative sourcing solutions and strategic workforce planning. Anticipates barriers (e.g., skills shortages, compensation constraints, DEI gaps) and provides data-driven recommendations.
  • Change management requirements: Contributes to and drives recruitment related change initiatives, such as introducing new technology tools, embedding inclusive hiring practices, and adapting processes to evolving business needs.
  • Internal / External interactions:
    • Internal: Partners with hiring managers, HRBPs, and senior leadership to deliver hiring needs and workforce planning.
    • External: Engages with candidates, job boards, and professional networks to source and attract talent.
  • Strategic timeframe working towards: Balances immediate hiring needs with long term talent pipeline development (6–12 months view), aligning talent acquisition strategies with the or future technology workforce planning objectives.

About You

Professional knowledge and experience

  • Proven experience in end-to-end digital, technology, engineering and data recruitment with a proven track record of hiring software engineers and other technical roles on a permanent basis. Ideally, in a fast-paced consultancy or public sector environment from an agency or internal perspective.
  • Expert understanding of the technology market, including software development, cloud, data, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and other emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and executing talent acquisition strategies for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Proven experience working with senior business leaders and the wider People team to deliver workforce planning and talent solutions.
  • Familiarity with recruitment metrics, reporting, and analytics to drive continuous improvement and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven experience implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment processes.

Technical Skills

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), we currently use ePloy so experience with ePloy would be a bonus.
  • Advanced sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searching and passive candidate engagement.
  • Experience leveraging recruitment marketing, employer branding, and talent pipelining tools for headhunting and sourcing purposes.
  • Competent in data-driven recruitment: metrics tracking, dashboards, reporting, and workforce analytics.
  • Knowledge of UK Laws, e.g Equality Act 2010 and Employment Rights Act 1996 and other hiring compliance requirements.
