Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager | Bristol | Hybrid Working
Are you currently working in Corporate Tax and looking to broaden your advisory experience?
I'm delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected professional services firm to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager for their growing Bristol team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong corporate tax compliance background who is keen to gain greater exposure to advisory work across a varied client portfolio, from owner-managed businesses through to larger corporate groups.
You'll have the opportunity to work on a range of interesting projects, including share schemes, corporate transactions, R&D tax relief, restructures and due diligence work, all while being supported by an experienced and collaborative tax team.
What you'll be doing: Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for a diverse portfolio of clients Supporting advisory projects including capital allowances, R&D claims, corporate restructures and tax due diligence Assisting with transaction-related tax work Conducting technical research and contributing to client projects Developing your expertise in specialist areas such as share schemes and innovation reliefs Supporting and mentoring junior team members Managing multiple assignments to agreed deadlines and budgets Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts Working closely with audit and wider advisory teams Getting involved in networking and business development activities

What we're looking for: Previous experience within a Corporate Tax role ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience Strong technical corporate tax knowledge A genuine interest in developing your advisory experience alongside compliance work Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organisation and time management skills A commercial mindset with a client-focused approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team Experience with Alphatax would be beneficial, but isn't essential
