The successful candidate will be expected to reside and work in the Cayman Islands, a prominent global financial center offering an exceptional quality of life. Full relocation support and work permit sponsorship will be provided.
The rapid pace of change and the increasing complexity of tax rules make this an important time to build your career in Tax at KPMG. We draw on our technical expertise and our understanding of how tax fits into the broader business landscape to help clients manage their U.S. income tax reporting obligations. Our work spans insurance, hedge funds, private equity funds, private clients, and local tax laws and regulations in our respective jurisdictions, including Economic Substance, Pillar 2, VAT, and AEOI (FATCA/CRS).
Senior Tax Associate Reporting to and providing support to the tax partners and senior management, the successful candidate will participate in and supervise the preparation of U.S. income tax returns for clients in the asset management industry.

Requirements: • CPA, EA, (or the pre-requisite to take the respective exams) and/or Masters degree in Taxation. • At least 2 years of U.S. tax experience • Understanding of U.S. federal income tax return preparation • Experience with asset management (hedge funds or private equity) • Strong attention to detail and ability to work at one's own initiative and within a small team • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Flexibility to work extended hours during busy periods • Relocation to Cayman (assistance and work permit sponsorship provided)
