Senior Tax Consultant
Senior Tax Advisor
Location: Fully Remote Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Our client is a high-growth tax and strategic advisory firm that supports entrepreneurs, privately owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and ambitious companies across the UK and internationally.
The firm has expanded significantly in recent years, blending advanced technical tax advice with a contemporary, commercially focused approach to service delivery. As they continue to scale, this pivotal senior position seeks a candidate who wants greater autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to shape the tax advisory function’s future.
This is not a traditional corporate accountancy firm. Instead, it’s a founder-led advisory business, known for high-calibre clients, a strong market presence, and a clear growth strategy.
The Role
You’ll collaborate closely with the senior leadership team, taking ownership of complex tax advisory work while guiding and developing the broader tax department.
The client base includes founder-led businesses, scaling companies, entrepreneurs, and private clients with substantial wealth. Unlike clients who only need compliance support, these individuals require proactive, commercially insightful guidance.
Many of these clients are experiencing rapid growth, restructuring, international expansion, or navigating intricate tax challenges. Your responsibilities will involve:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
