Senior Tax Manager Stockton
Location: Stockton-on-Tees, UK
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join a dynamic accountancy practice in Stockton. This senior role is ideal for a CTA-qualified professional with significant practice experience, who is looking to take a leadership position and advise a portfolio of high-value clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of corporate and personal clients, providing strategic tax advice.
- Deliver expertise in Inheritance Tax planning, company reorganisations, and other complex tax matters.
- Oversee preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level tax staff.
- Keep up to date with UK tax legislation and provide proactive advice to clients.
- Work collaboratively with senior colleagues to identify business growth opportunities.

Skills and Experience
- CTA qualified (Chartered Tax Adviser) essential.
- Extensive experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
- Proven experience with Inheritance Tax planning and company reorganisations.
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate and personal tax.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- Leadership experience, with ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
