Join a leading telecommunications company as a Senior Tax Manager – UK Tax Compliance & Reporting!
Job Overview: You will play a key role in delivering UK corporation tax compliance, tax accounting and reporting obligations across a complex multinational environment, while partnering with Finance, Shared Services, HMRC and external advisers. The role combines strong technical tax expertise with leadership, stakeholder management and continuous improvement initiatives across tax processes, controls and technology.
Contract Details
- Location: London Paddington (hybrid – twice per week on-site)
- Rate: Inside IR35
- Contract Length: until 18th December 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of UK corporation tax compliance, tax accounting and reporting obligations across multiple UK entities.
- Review and oversee corporation tax returns, tax computations, statutory tax disclosures, group relief claims, Group Payment Arrangements (GPA) and Quarterly Instalment Payments (QIPs).
- Manage tax reporting requirements, including deferred tax calculations, statutory tax notes and Group reporting submissions.
- Provide technical advice on UK corporation tax matters, UK-linked international tax issues and identify potential tax risks across business activities and projects.
- Support HMRC interactions, tax enquiries and Business Risk Review activities, working closely with senior stakeholders and external advisers.
- Lead and develop junior team members, ensuring high-quality outputs and effective delivery across reporting cycles.
- Drive process improvement, automation and control enhancements, including the use of data, tax technology and emerging AI solutions.

Key Requirements

- ACA, ACCA, CTA, CA or equivalent qualification, with significant post-qualified experience in UK corporation tax compliance and reporting.
- Strong experience within a multinational organisation or a leading advisory firm (Big 4 / Top 10 practice such as BDO, Grant Thornton or RSM).
- Extensive knowledge of UK corporation tax compliance, tax accounting, deferred tax, Group Relief, GPA, QIPs, CFC reporting and CIR requirements.
- Proven experience reviewing and approving corporation tax returns, computations and statutory tax disclosures.
- Experience using tax compliance and reporting systems such as AlphaTax (preferred), OneSource, Longview or similar platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Tax, Finance, Shared Services, auditors, advisers and HMRC.
