Your New Company

A leading international organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Tax Manager to join its established tax function during a period of transition. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the business has a complex global structure and a strong focus on continuous improvement, transformation and operational excellence.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished tax specialist to join a high-performing team on an interim basis, providing critical support while a permanent hire is secured. A thorough handover will be provided, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.

Your New Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, you will act as a senior technical specialist, taking ownership of key tax compliance, reporting and return processes across the group. This is a genuinely hands-on position, requiring an individual who enjoys being involved in the detail and delivering work directly, rather than managing teams and delegating responsibilities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing UK and group corporate tax compliance activities.
  • Preparing and reviewing tax computations, returns and associated reporting requirements.
  • Supporting tax reporting and period-end processes.
  • Working with key tax systems including: Alphatax, OneSource, QIPS, CFC reporting, GPA, Group Relief.
  • Ensuring tax obligations are met accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Acting as the technical tax expert for complex tax matters.
  • Liaising with finance, accounting and business stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Working collaboratively with offshore tax teams based overseas.
  • Supporting tax transformation and change initiatives, including offshore operating model programmes.
  • Preparing presentations and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders, including CFO-level audiences.
  • Providing knowledge transfer and support throughout the interim assignment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
