Tax & Treasury Recruitment are searching for a Senior Tax Manager to join the specialist advisory team of a complex, globally operating public sector organisation.
This is a forward-looking, commercial role that will be incredibly rewarding for an international tax specialist looking to drive strategic change.
Your Role
You will support the Group Tax and Status function on complex business projects and transactions across both the UK and overseas.
- Perform due diligence on cross-border transactions
- Analyse and explore tax implications and risk mitigation strategies
- Provide expert advice on tax implications arising from business restructurings and divestments, including the disposal of real estate assets
- Collaborate with and manage local and UK professional tax and legal advisers to define scopes of work and deliver technical support

About You
Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:
Experience and Knowledge
- Solid experience dealing with multiple tax jurisdictions and regions, covering both direct and indirect taxes
- Familiarity with transfer pricing principles and international tax concepts, including:
- Permanent establishment
- Withholding taxes
- Double tax agreements
Qualifications
- Degree-level higher education
- One of the following qualifications:
- CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser)
- ADIT (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation)
- ATT (Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation)
- or equivalent professional body certification
