Park View Residential Home is located in the peaceful Church Circle area of Farnborough, just a short walk from local churches, shops, cafes, and the King George V playing fields. Originally opened in 1986, the home has grown to include a neighboring property, offering more space while maintaining an intimate atmosphere. The late 19th-century buildings retain many original features, creating a unique, timeless charm. Park View is known for its cosy, homely feel and a welcoming environment that helps every guest feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.
Role Description
The Senior Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based at Park View Residential Home in Farnborough. This role involves overseeing daily care routines, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring that residents receive high-quality, person-centered support. The Senior Team Leader will supervise and mentor care staff, conduct handovers, monitor care plans, and help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

- Liaising with families and healthcare professionals
- Supporting compliance with policies and regulations
- Contributing to continuous improvement of care standards
- Documenting care activities
- Managing incident reporting
- Assisting with training and development of team members
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills, including experience coordinating staff and supporting performance.
- Proven ability in residential or social care settings, with a focus on person-centered care and safeguarding.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to oversee daily operations, documentation, and care planning.
- Knowledge of relevant care standards, health and safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Competence in basic IT and record-keeping systems used in care environments.
- Relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care, or equivalent experience).
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
