Senior AI Tech Lead
Location: London
Contract Type: Inside IR35
Rate: £700 - £800 Per Day
On-Site Days: 3 Days

The Role and Deliverables
- Lead the technical design and strategy for AI and ML platforms within a key domain
- Develop reusable AI products that can be scaled across multiple business units
- Guide engineering teams to deliver consistent, enterprise-grade solutions with strong architectural foundations
- Assess the feasibility of new AI initiatives and define efficient approaches to deliver early value
- Establish and maintain governance processes for technical decision-making, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and model cost-benefit trade-offs to inform strategic decisions
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience providing hands-on technical leadership across complex engineering environments
- Proven capability in designing and delivering AI and machine learning solutions at scale
- Deep understanding of ML engineering practices, including MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model deployment
- Experience working with cloud platforms and building scalable, production-grade systems
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across multiple teams and functions
