Senior Technical Account Manager

We are looking for a committed, dedicated, and experienced Senior Technical Account Manager to join our team at Dunbia, Cross Hands. This management position offers a unique chance to work as part of a fast-moving red meat manufacturer. You will work side by side with experienced Technical Account Managers and have a direct report, overseeing, developing, and leading their development within the industry. You will collaborate with production, sales, and quality assurance teams to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and develop Technical Account Managers in managing our customers, their accounts, and understanding their operational needs. Ensure consistently high standards are met throughout supply and processing.
  • Lead client onboarding from initial product setup, explaining processing technologies, and delivering tailored training relevant to industry requirements.
  • Address quickly and efficiently client queries, troubleshoot technical issues related to red meat products, processing equipment, safety, and compliance, keeping the Site Technical Manager up to date on complex cases.
  • Manage account reviews, compiling weekly and monthly data on production performance, product quality, compliance metrics, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, product issues, and resolutions.
  • Work effectively with cross-departmental teams, collaborating with Sales, Product Development, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to provide meat industry-specific solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Take initiative and stay informed about advancements in meat processing technologies, industry regulations, food safety improvements, animal welfare standards, and trends in the red meat sector.

  • Customer relationship management in the red meat supply chain.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Broad range of problem-solving skills and an ability to take initiative when faced with industry-specific challenges.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, specifically in compliance and quality assurance matters.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or technical role within the food sector is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Business, Meat Technology, or a related field is desirable, but not necessary.

Working Hours

  • Monday – Friday 8.30am-5pm on site
  • 31 days annual leave
