Senior Technical Accounting Manager
Senior Technical Accounting Lead
Location: International Financial Services Firm | PE-backed
About the Role
- Position: Leads accounting advisory role for a scaling, multi-entity organisation
- Operates as a strategic advisor on intricate accounting issues in fast-growing, complex environments
- Directs work across non-routine and judgement-driven areas, often tied to transactions and structural transformations
- Regular engagement in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) support, addressing acquisition accounting, integration uncertainty and restructuring impacts
- Bridges technical accounting expertise with senior finance leadership to deliver commercially actionable outcomes
- Drafts and distributes position papers, with reporting directly to executives for decision-making
- Champions accounting standards evolution and governs consistency across a diverse international group
- Serves as key auditor liaison, interfacing with external advisors

Requirements
Qualifications
- ACA qualification mandatory (Preferred: experience in Big Four regulated accounting teams)
- Strong customer/client management skills with PE/fund-backed advisory environments
Skills & Attributes
- Demonstrated technical accountingSpecialist with prudent judgement in high-stakes, ambiguous environments
- Ability to synthesise complex accounting regulations into practical commercial advice
- Proven record of stakeholder influence with confidence and clarity at senior levels
- Problem-solving mindset with delivery orientation
- Fluency in navigating multi-jurisdictional accounting standards and regulatory requirements
