As Senior Technical Advisor, you will respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and by Microsoft Teams, providing accurate advice on complex technical queries. This is a senior role within the team, and you will coach and support junior Technical Advisors as you grow into the position. The role is hybrid, with 3 set days in the office (Tuesday to Thursday) and 2 days at home, working core hours of 8.30am to 5pm. You may be asked to attend the office more frequently during your initial training.
What you’ll do:
- Respond to customer enquiries quickly and accurately by phone, email and Microsoft Teams.
- Handle complex technical queries and make sound decisions on the spot.
- Coach and support junior Technical Advisors, sharing your knowledge and helping them develop.
- Act as a senior point of reference within the team.

What you’ll bring:
- Experience providing advice on a technical product, gained in a building or architectural environment.
- The ability to read architects' drawings and understand construction details.
- Strong people skills, with experience helping or training others at a senior level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly over the telephone.
- Enthusiasm for supporting people and working in an office environment.
- A base within commutable distance of our Bristol office (around one hour at peak times).
- AutoCAD experience is desirable.
- A qualification in fire protection, or experience with a fire protection company, is desirable.
