10:10 Games is an independent development studio based in the heart of Warrington, UK. 10:10 Games saw its first release in 2024 with Funko Fusion and is now gearing up for future growth with new and exciting IPs. At 10:10 Games, we have anchored a people first culture into our studio where our team are empowered to fulfil their potential. About The Role
As a Senior Technical Designer at 10:10 Games, you will be responsible for the design, prototyping & implementation of interactive gameplay systems & mechanics that leverage UE5’s latest tech. You will work as part of the multi-skilled Technical Design team made up of staff with animation, art & design backgrounds created to ensure interactive assets not only function well from an interactive perspective but also look visually outstanding.
You will mentor and guide other technical designers and push to improve technical understanding and expertise across other disciplines. You will work closely with other teams such as Design & Engineering to ensure systems not only fit designs specifications, but also leverage best use of C++ classes, components & functions with consideration for best practices and performance.
What We're Looking For

You have professional experience as a Senior Technical Designer working on at least one shipped Unreal based project You have strong cross-team communication skills You have a good understanding of keyframe animation fundamentals and are confident with animating & rigging in UE5, Maya, Blender or similar Experience with mentoring & guiding other team members You have a keen eye for attention to detail, object composition and have an interest in Art. You are the type of person that is user focussed and regularly thinks outside of the box.
Bonus Points
You have experience and/or knowledge of programming fundamentals in C++ Experience with Materials, PCG & Niagara You have experience writing documentation for tools/workflows/good working practices You have hands-on experience with UE5’s platform profiling tools Experience with people management
