Explore our 7 Huel values before applying to ensure we provide the right working environment for you and vice versa.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Manager to lead our global RTD (Ready-To-Drink) technical function in one of our fastest-growing categories.

This senior role ensures global technical oversight, combining manufacturing governance, team development, and supply chain coordination across UK, EU, and US. You’ll define the technical direction, ensuring data-driven, risk-conscious, and supplier-focused leadership to support growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the global RTD technical strategy, covering process standards, quality, and co-manufacturer capability.
  • Team Management: Oversee RTD Technical Managers and Process Technologists, ensuring clear roles and team growth in process knowledge, quality RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and influence skills.
  • Process Standardisation: Set and enforce technical standards across EU, UK, and US co-manufacturers, standardising best practices across regions.
  • Risk & Escalation: Escalate critical technical risks/incidents, conducting robust RCA and implementing systemic, not symptomatic, fixes.
  • Co-Manufacturer Onboarding: Lead technical onboarding—assessing capability gaps, quality readiness, and risk mitigation for new suppliers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive CPMU (Component Part партий Quantity) reduction and collaborate with co-mans to optimise efficiency.
  • Scalability & Risk Management: Evaluate co-manufacturer scalability and viability for future SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) and new formats.
  • Quality & Safety: Maintain an up-to-date RTD technical risk register, guide major quality incidents, and ensure food safety compliance.
  • New Product Engagement: Serve as the primary technical lead for NPD (New Product Development) and EPD (Existing Product Development)— flagging quality and safety risks early.
  • Business Impact Translation: Convert technical findings into commercial insights, optimizing supply chain, processes, and leadership alignment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
