Technical Services Engineer
Contract: 12 Months
Based: Warton BAE
Hourly Rate: £25.99 PAYE or £34.83 Umbrella inside IR35
5 days on site per week
37 hours Monday - Friday
Overview
Are you an experienced Technical Services Engineer with a strong background in Continuing Airworthiness and CAMO? BAE Systems are looking for a Senior Technical Services Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the continued safety, compliance and operational performance of a commercial aircraft fleet.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage continuing airworthiness activities, including reviewing and assessing Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs) and mandatory regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support to Maintenance and Flight Operations, investigating defects, carrying out root cause analysis and recommending effective corrective actions.
- Support maintenance planning by developing work scopes, reviewing maintenance work packs and ensuring maintenance activities are accurately recorded and forecast.
- Monitor fleet reliability, analyse performance trends and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance aircraft availability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with UK CAA regulations, Part CAMO, Part M and Part 145 requirements, supporting internal and external audits and implementing corrective actions where required.

Key Skills
- Previous experience within a CAMO or Technical Services environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK CAA Continuing Airworthiness requirements, including Part CAMO, Part M and Part 145.
- Experience supporting aircraft maintenance planning, reliability programmes and defect management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience conducting root cause investigations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with maintenance organisations, OEMs and regulatory authorities.
- Experience preparing for regulatory audits and maintaining compliance within a highly regulated aviation environment.
