Role Overview
The Product Trainer will support Viessmann’s installer network, partners, and internal teams by delivering expert training on the company’s range of boilers and renewable energy products. This role is critical in ensuring customers— installers, engineers, and end-users—confidently install, commission, and maintain Viessmann & Carrier technologies, driving adoption, minimising errors, and boosting overall satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused, technically proficient, and passionate advocate for low-carbon heating solutions, committed to helping others succeed with Viessmann products.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions on the full range of Viessmann boilers, heat pumps, controls, and associated systems.
- Develop, update, and maintain training materials, manuals, guides, and digital resources in alignment with evolving product standards.
- Provide technical support and expert guidance to installers, service engineers, and internal colleagues, ensuring confidence in installation and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to ensure training remains current, accurate, and aligned with product updates and market requirements.
- Assist with product launches by designing tailored training programmes and live demonstrations, maximising product roll-out success.
- Maintain training equipment, rigs, and facilities to ensure a professional, high-quality learning environment.
- Gather and act on feedback from course attendees, continuously refining training delivery to improve learner experience.
- Represent Viessmann professionally at industry events, roadshows, and exhibitions as needed.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- A strong technical background in heating systems, with hands-on experience in boilers and/or heat pumps.
- Proven experience in delivering technical training, mentoring installers, or engineering teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Technical Knowledge
- UK heating regulations, best-practice installation standards, and low-carbon technologies.
- Equipment Familiarity: An understanding of UK government heating schemes (a bonus—full training provided if inexperienced); a knowledge base for air source heat pumps (ASHP) (also provided if lacking).
Personal Attributes
- Self-motivated, organised, and proactive, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-centric mindset, with a strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
Minimum Requirements
- Core IT skills.

Compensation
- Base salary + annual sales bonus within a range of £34,500–£69,500 annually (based on skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Potential eligibility for short-term cash incentives subject to plan criteria.
