About Us
At Norwich, we champion interdisciplinary artistic practice: we strive to encourage our students to explore the intersection between traditional methods and emerging technologies. To support this, our technical team provides a range of high-quality workshops and specialist support pathways for students to bring their creative ambitions to life.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and adaptable creative technologist to support the operation and growth of our creative computing and digital production facilities, including our Computing Hub and Creative Technology Lab.
In this role, you will provide expert technical support to empower staff and students to integrate new technologies into their creative practice. A key requirement of this role is strong practical programming experience, particularly working with real-time environments such as Unity or similar platforms. You will design and deliver workshops that will help students experiment and realise ambitious projects involving projection mapping and lighting design, XR, 3D scanning, interactive installations, and creative applications of code. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of specialist facilities, ensuring they remain safe, innovative, and aligned with contemporary industry practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
