Are you a Civil 3D Technician with experience leading and mentoring others?

We’re looking for a Senior Technician to join our Infrastructure Group in London, working on a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across the UK and internationally.

Your next role

As part of our UK Infrastructure Group, you’ll be embedded in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering technically challenging and innovative infrastructure solutions. You’ll play a key role in shaping best practice, supporting digital delivery, and mentoring the next generation of technicians.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work on technically demanding infrastructure projects from concept through to construction
  • Be at the forefront of industry change, including reducing embodied carbon and adopting modern methods of infrastructure design
  • Influence quality, consistency, and digital standards across projects
  • Support and develop junior technicians within the team

Key duties

  • Managing Common Data Environments (CDEs), including BIM360, SharePoint, Aconex, and the OneBH GeoStore
  • Compiling and contributing to BIM Execution Plans
  • Supporting civil infrastructure design and masterplanning from concept through to construction, using GIS and Civil 3D tools
  • Producing and coordinating designs covering drainage, earthworks, highways, pressurised water networks, and wider utilities coordination
  • Mentoring and line-managing junior members of the technician team

Your Skills And Experience

  • A strong technical background in civil infrastructure design, with demonstrable experience in highways, utilities, and earthworks
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Solid working knowledge of BIM processes and standards, including PAS 1192-2
  • Ability to deliver design tasks with minimal supervision, combined with clear communication and a collaborative approach
  • Previous experience line-managing or supervising Civil Infrastructure Technicians
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CAD platforms
  • Membership of a relevant professional institution, or actively working towards professional registration
