Are you a D365 Business Central consultant seeking an exciting new opportunity with an established ERP finance technology focused consultancy that is innovative, inspiring and entrepreneurial?

Our finance ERP projects can vary from several months to highly complex, multi-year, business critical multi-application environments. What you'll be doing:
- Finance ERP systems consultancy strategic advice and support, focusing on Business Central
- Experience of full life cycle, end to end implementation of Business Central across a range of clients – retail, manufacturing, warehousing or professional services would be preferred
- Designing, coordinating, documenting, and signing off a comprehensive client project plan
- Evaluate and understand business processes and prepare detailed business requirements and process maps
- Analyse client requirements and objectives and convert to functional specifications and functional design documents
- Developing extensions and customisations for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL
- Weekly reporting on project plan progress / milestones / deliverables / budget / resourcing
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Work with the existing system support teams and work stream leads, as well as key stakeholders
- Ability to resolve issues and manage change controls
- Take full ownership for executing the project plan and activities at ‘go live’ to ensure the smooth and timely rollout of the new BC system
- Create and deliver work packages for clients that may include developing a business plan or a business case, requirements gathering, report writing, finance systems process and design and analysis
- Prepare, arrange and present at meetings and client workshops with key client stakeholders.
- Understand the commercial purpose of role and seek to maintain consistent utilisation rates to accurately record billable time.
- Contribute to sales and bid activity including presentations and system demo's to clients.
- Share your knowledge and insight of finance ERP systems in supporting the development and delivery of marketing campaigns.

All about you:
- Excellent understanding of finance and accounting principles with a focus on Business Central financial systems, technology, transformation and change
- Certified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant (MB-800)
- Practical consulting experience across a range of industry sectors
- A working knowledge of finance ERP systems, and how they can be used to solve business problems
- Previous consulting experience with ability to lead, manage and deliver projects
- People management experience of leading, motivating, inspiring and coaching small teams
- Willingness to go the extra mile to meet critical deadlines for the client
- Knowledge of methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile useful and / or ITIL
- Excellent communication / presentation skills - verbal and written
- Credibility in engaging and managing key stakeholders
- Creative and effective problem-solver - able to suggest new ideas and innovative solutions
- Positive, engaging, warm demeanour, with a proactive, can do, solution-seeking attitude

This contract can be fully remote with some travel to Sheffield office when required / or hybrid (3 days in the office). You must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis. We do not provide sponsorship.
