Senior Technology Application Manager (HR)

Epsom | Hybrid Working | Technology | Fixed Term Contract: 6 Months | Full Time

Competitive salary available, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

About the Role

The Senior Technology Application Manager will manage a team of application managers in the HR Applications team. With a strong understanding of Workday HCM and end to end HR processes, they will lead, coach and mentor their teams to effectively support and deliver change for key HR workstream groups across the Workday system.

Responsibilities

As our Senior Technology Application Manager for HR Applications, you will:

  • Ensure high quality application configurations are delivered in line with product/business goals and delivery cycles using agile methods.
  • Lead application managers to work collaboratively as part of a multi-functional squad, focused on delivering business outcomes.
  • Run, maintain and improve Workday HCM to the benefit of Nuffield Health users, including core HR, Time Tracking, Payroll, Absence and Recruitment modules.
  • Be responsible for provision of support and service for Workday HCM and other HR specific applications, managing customer service related to issues and problems.
  • Be responsible for a team of Application Management professionals, coaching and mentoring them to collaboratively develop standards, innovate and build capability.
  • Develop developing capability by facilitating internal mobility, shaping career paths, recruiting talent, and making sure people collaborate.
  • Identify, test and champion the adoption of emerging technologies in the application management space.

Requirements

To succeed as a Senior Technology Application Manager, you will need:

  • Proven experience of working with Workday HCM, including core HR, Time Tracking, Payroll, Absence and Recruitment modules.
  • Additional experience working with Workday security, reporting, business processes and the foundation data model.
  • Experience of supplier / vendor management.
