Job Description
These positions will play a key role in defining architecture strategy, supporting MBSE activities, and ensuring interoperability across complex defence systems and platforms. The successful candidates will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and programme leadership to support the delivery of secure, scalable, and standards-compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop architecture solutions across complex defence systems and digital environments
- Support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities across the programme lifecycle
- Develop architecture views, models, and frameworks using Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Ensure solutions align with programme, customer, and interoperability requirements
- Support requirements management and traceability activities using Polarion
- Work closely with systems engineering, integration, and programme teams
- Support architecture governance, design reviews, and technical decision making
- Contribute to technical strategy, standards compliance, and engineering best practice
- Support integration activities across multiple systems and domains
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customer teams within a secure defence environment

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience within Defence Systems Architecture or Technology Architecture environments
- Experience working within complex defence or military programmes
- Experience with MBSE methodologies and modelling approaches
- Strong experience using:
- Sparx Enterprise Architect
- SysML
- Archimate 3.1
- NAF v4
- Experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion
- Strong understanding of systems integration and interoperability
- Experience working within secure or safety-critical environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Land Systems or Land Defence programme experience
- Experience with LOSA / MOSA principles
- Experience supporting MOD or NATO-aligned programmes
- Understanding of digital engineering frameworks and enterprise architecture approaches
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid engineering environments
