Job Description
Citi operates through five major business divisions — Services, Markets, Banking and International, Wealth, and U.S. Personal Banking. Each of these generates complex financial data and transactions that require robust technology infrastructure. Technology and Business Enablement is the division that cuts across all of them, providing shared platforms, controls, and transformation programs. Finance Technology lives within T&BE, making it a truly enterprise-wide function, delivering technology solutions for Finance, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, and Treasury across all Citi businesses globally.
Responsibilities
The Finance Technology Product Management Analyst is a strategic professional who owns defining our overarching product strategy, spearheading business engagement and transformation and contributing to directional strategy for AI, integration and automation capabilities. It is a Techno-functional hands-on role with experience building products that solve real and pressing problems in highly complex and regulated environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define Product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Develop solution proposals, business cases, solution design, and tactics in engagement with Business and Technology stakeholders.
- Lead business process redesign, map existing and to-be processes for operational optimization, digital transformation initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with business and technology partners.
- Ownership of the Product backlog and roadmap, strategy, outlining the vision and direction for the product offering over time.
- Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies.
- Lead a culture of innovation, “test and learn” experiments to create platform products that increase customer value.
- Analyze gaps in capabilities, opportunities for optimization, and efficiency, and enhancing user experience, remediating risk, and control gaps.
- Define and measure the KPIs for a platform product.
- Make trade-off decisions on multiple platform products in a portfolio.
- Develop solution proposals, business cases, and budget requests.
- Work in an agile environment, continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
- Drive stakeholder alignment and iterative product delivery.
- Lead business process redesign, operational optimization, digital transformation initiative, and change management.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies, regulatory and risk alignment, user adoption, and change management.
- Work with Data: Data analysis to document business requirements at the right level, draw meaningful insights, and visualize conceptual and logical data models and flows.
- Collaborate with various teams and application owners to unify data concepts across finance applications across Citi.

Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.

Report control gaps with transparency and take accountability of deliveries.
Must-have skills
- Demonstrated experience in Product Management and/or Product Development discipline.
- Strong understanding of Finance processes and data flows, record to report, Accounting, reconciliation, regulatory reporting, and financial close process, with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Familiarity with Financial products and asset classes, with an appreciation of how transactions flow from source product systems to financial reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of Agentic AI, ML, LLM, A2A concepts, Intelligent rule engine, and their practical applications in business processes across financial services.
- Solid Experience with Data pipelines/integrations and consumption patterns, Modelling, Data Lineage, Quality & Governance.

Good-to-have
- At least familiarity and conceptual understanding of SQL/Python/APIs, Data Analytics.
- Ability to represent customer needs to guide product development features, functionality, and overall competitiveness.
- Ability to critically assess where AI adds value vs. where traditional rule-based automation/process improvements are more effective, ensuring pragmatic and cost-efficient solutions.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured AI and automation opportunities, including defining problem statements, required data inputs, and expected outcomes.
- Ability to apply ingenuity, creativity, and analytical thinking to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations.
- Build consensus and communicate the value proposition to key partners and stakeholders across the organization.
- Highly self-motivated, effective communication, and decision management skills, and has the willingness to learn and adapt in an agile environment.
