About the Role
The Senior Test Development Engineer will join a dynamic, cross-functional engineering team collaborating under fast-paced conditions. Your core responsibilities will include the design, development, and support of advanced test systems required in clients’ manufacturing facilities and across their supply chain.
The ideal candidate will design innovative test solutions for complex electronic products, with a focus on automated and production-oriented systems. Experience required must include development of test equipment for sophisticated electronics, including embedded and control-level systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create practical, customer-driven testing solutions.
- Design, build, and own state-of-the-art test systems across the supply chain, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Apply advanced automation, hardware integration, and embedded programming to optimise testing performance.
- Develop automated test procedures using LabVIEW or comparable tools for test equipment control.
- Implement deep prototype-to-production workflows, transforming test concepts into realisable hardware using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools.
- Troubleshoot and improve electronic test methods, focusing on fault detection, diagnosis, and remediation.
- Ensure strict adherence to engineering standards while innovating to reduce time-to-market.

Core Skills & Qualifications
Technical Competencies
- Hands-on experience in:
- Electronic test equipment (hardware/firmware fabrication).
- Embedded C programming, with a background in automated test systems.
- Python scripting (preferably with experience in source control systems, e.g. Git).
- LabVIEW (for development and automation of industrial test equipment).
- CAD-based design & prototyping (e.g. SolidWorks).
- Embedded systems development and sys-tem control.
- Understanding of electronic test methodologies, fault localisation, and sigNAL-hardware troubleshooting.
