Senior Test Engineer (4G/5G network)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end test activities, including test analysis, planning, execution, defect management, and reporting for telecom projects.
- Deliver test programs on time by collaborating with design, operations, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and defects.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test cases, test documentation, automation scripts, and testing procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
- Ensure the stability, availability, and maintenance of test environments, platforms, and technical systems under assigned ownership.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to test engineers, supporting complex testing activities and troubleshooting.
- Validate new and existing telecom services and solutions to meet quality, performance, and production readiness standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support successful test delivery and continuous service improvement.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience in telecommunications testing, with a strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and test management methodologies.
- Good understanding of 4G/5G network architecture, call flows, protocols, and telecom standards.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Test management tools (e.g., HP ALM)
- Test automation tools or network simulators
- ISTQB certification or equivalent software testing qualification is preferred.
- Experience in testing complex telecom projects, including:
- Cloud-based solutions
- Network elements such as IMS, OCS, PCRF, HSS/HLR, Billing, Messaging, or MVNO platforms
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to:
- Identify, investigate, and drive resolution of test defects and environment issues
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, and collaboration skills, with the ability to:
- Deliver high-quality outcomes within project timelines.
